Here's Daft Punk's DEREZZED music video for the upcoming film "TRON: LEGACY." Looks like an epic film.

Don't get me wrong, Daft Punk is easily one of my favorite artists of all time, however, I'm not as excited about their upcoming album as many are. They composed a musical score for a film, meaning, they composed their songs with a different purpose than they would have for a musical album. They had to adapt their songs to fit seamlessly with scenes in the film. Meaning, they were constricted in some sense with their musical experimentation. Having listened to some of the songs from their upcoming album, it's good, but not DAFT PUNK good. I just hope they release songs/album SOON where they can recapture what made them Daft Punk. Nevertheless, here's the video:

That Peace and Quiet

Ever been so flustered that your emotions run amok it consumes and controls your every thought and behavior. Blood boiling, temper rising, words spilling, it's an extremely exhausting experience. And after having waken from a much needed deep slumber, you're emotions are so polar opposite from a couple hours ago you seek something to match and tickle that peace and calm you're seeking. Well, music provides that remedy, and here are a couple songs that will set you at ease.

NOUVEAUNOISE - GONI
Don't know anything about this artist, however the use of the high-string instrument amidst the faint vocals in the background give a somewhat Nujabes feel to it. Don't take that statement too far though.

AEROPLANE VS. FRIENDLY FIRES VS. FLIGHT FACILITIES - I CRAVE PARIS
Mixed with the song "Crave You" by Flight Facilities with Friendly Fire's "Paris (Aeroplane Remix)" make for an absolutely amazing song. The beat is Aeroplane's, and it has that nu-disco feel that I love so much. It's a hate em or love em with Aeroplane usually, but give this one a try.

STARS - DEADHEARTS (LIGHTSOVERLA REMIX)
Stars, one of my favorite indie bands because of their great ability to produce a melancholic chill to their songs, has one of their songs remixed beautifully by LightsoverLA.
